Steve joined the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice (BILP) in
1992. He is Head of the Department and is also a member of the
Professional Conduct and Regulation team. He specialises in the
following areas:
- Corporate Finance
- Financial Services Regulation
- Business Law
Before working at BILP, Steve worked as a Solicitor in the
Corporate Department of Clifford Chance, during which time he
specialised in Share, Business and Receivership Sales as well as
the regulation of Public Listed Companies.
Steve has lectured onUK corporate law in Australia, Sweden and
France.
During his time at BILP, he has worked for the Solicitors
Regulation Authority as one of their Chief External Examiners and
Chief Reporting Assessors.
