Emma joined the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice (BILP) in 1998. She is a member of the Litigation team and specialises in the following areas:

  • Civil Litigation
  • Family Law

Before working at BILP, Emma was a Litigation Solicitor at John Hodge & Co in Bristol, practising primarily in Family Law but also undertaking some Civil Litigation and Debt Collection work. Emma also taught Civil and Criminal Litigation and Family Law on the Legal Practice Course at the University of Bristol.

Whilst working at BILP, Emma has worked part time as a Family Law Solicitor at John Hodge & Co over a few years and during this time she has developed a particular interest in Ancillary Relief.
