David was admitted as a solicitor in 1993 having trained at
Edward Fail, Bradshaw & Waterson in East London. He
worked principally in Criminal Litigation and Family, ultimately at
Sopel & Co in Bow. He joined the University of Westminster Law
School in December 1998. He is subject leader for Solicitors'
Accounts and Family Law on the LPC and Criminal Procedure and
evidence on the LLB. He is an institutional lead external
examiner for the SRA. Until recently, he was a consultant solicitor
for a firm in Kilburn.
