Cathy joined the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice (BILP) in
2001. She is the Associate Course Director for the full-time course
and she heads the Business Law & Practice team and specialises
in the following areas:
- Banking & Capital Markets
- Company/ Commercial
Before working at BILP, Cathy worked in-house for a large FTSE
100 company where she advised on all aspects of Banking &
Finance work negotiating several large syndicated facilities.
Prior to that, Cathy worked for City firm Ashurst for four
years. Whilst at Ashurst, Cathy advised banks, other financial
institutions and domestic and foreign corporate clients in many
areas of acquisition and structured finance and was also seconded
to a US Investment Bank for six months.
Cathy continues to provide bespoke Banking training to a leading
Bristol firm.
