LPC entry requirements

Please note that to be allowed to join the Legal Practice Course you must produce evidence to us on the first day of:

  • Evidence of your completion of the academic stage of training (written confirmation from the SRA)
  • Your enrolment with the SRA

Academic stage

Applicants need to have completed the academic stage of legal training. They normally have:

  • A recent law degree; or
  • A Graduate Diploma in Law; or
  • Appropriate professional qualifications, which the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) accepts as equivalent.

Please note for the full-time LPC, NCLT centres are listed on the CAB website under UWE/NCLT.
