six study centres in Coventry, Derby, London, Manchester,
Southampton and Sunderland. Visit our LPC pages to find out
more.

Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)

lawyer, you will need to do a conversion course known as the
Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) also referred to as the Common
Professional Examination (CPE). The GDL is a labour-intensive
academic course, intended to prepare you for the next stage of
training (the LPC or BPTC) to becoming a solicitor or
barrister.
You can study part-time over two years with NCLT's GDL, in
London, Manchester or Southampton. Take a look at our GDL pages for more
information about converting to law.
