Overview
The National College of
Legal Training (NCLT) offers postgraduate qualifications to law
students and others interested in pursuing a legal career. NCLT is
a collaboration between Central Law Training (CLT), the leading
trainer for qualified lawyers in the UK, and the University of the
West of England (UWE), one of the finest universities in the UK. So
you can be confident that law firms recognise the value of our
courses. NCLT is formally known as an Associate College of UWE.
We currently offer a part-time, weekend study Legal Practice
Course (LPC), a full-time LPC, a part-time Graduate Diploma in Law
(GDL), and an LLM Top Up qualification.

UWE
Overview
The University of the West of England
(UWE) is a modern, growing university in the thriving
harbourside city of Bristol. UWE Bristol is one of Britain's
most popular universities.
With around 30,000 students and 3,000 staff and is the largest
provider of Higher Education in the South West of England.
Students come to UWE from all parts of the UK, as well as a

50 countries worldwide. The Law School at UWE is a dynamic, active
community of staff and students which has established itself over a
period of 40 years as one of the largest law schools in the UK.
